石本事件与辽西抗日义勇军

摘要

The Japanese government and public were shocked when Shiben, a Japanese spy, was arrested by the anti-Japanese army of volunteers in western Liaoning Province, for he was greatly appreciated by Japanese invaders for his evil deeds and his espionage activities in China. This incident was put to an end by the execution of Shiben, which was taken advantage by Japanese army to invade Rehe Province.%日本间谍石本权四郎被辽西抗日义勇军逮捕，惊动了日本朝野。究其原因，石本是一个侵华的狂热分子，作恶多端，历来受到日本侵略分子的器重。石本被捕后，中日双方围绕石本的去留问题，展开了几番斗智斗勇的较量，事件以石本被处死而告终。石本事件发生时，正是日本关东军准备入侵热河省的关键时刻。日军便以石本事件为借口，发动了侵略热河的战争。
