摘要

With the development of postmodern views on science and technology ,sci-technological alienation is attracting increasing attention nowadays .In Mary Shelly’s Frankenstein ,a British science fiction in 19th centu-ry ,the author depicts an unbelievable scientific experiment of a Prometheus-like scientist and his tragic fate brought by his unfathomable endeavor .The novel shows not only the fast paces of sci-technological development then ,but also the sincere reflections of people on the potential disasters that the unbridled scientific development may incur .Besides ,from the perspective of sci-technological alienation ,the article analyzes Frankenstein’s ma-nia in scientific pursuit ,his blasphemy in imitating God in creating a man ,his betrayal of humanity and morality in his experiments and finally his suffering from a tragic fate .%随着后现代主义科学观的兴起，科技异化的现象越来越引起人们关注。十九世纪英国作家玛丽·雪莱的科幻小说《弗兰肯斯坦》通过一个科学家制造怪物的冒险经历和由此遭受的悲剧命运，反映出当时英国科技突飞猛进的发展进程，并深刻反思科技异化给人类带来的恶果。以科技异化为理论依据剖析小说同名主人公弗兰肯斯坦疯狂追逐科技、狂妄模仿上帝造人和最终幡然悔悟的人生历程，借以诠释一个现代普罗米修斯的悲剧并警示放纵科技野心可能给人类带来无妄之灾。
