“枯树”与“浮木”:有关古典艺术与现代艺术之关系的思考

         

摘要

马歇尔·杜尚、约翰·凯奇和安迪·沃霍尔这三颗现代艺术史上“刺眼的明星”,给传统艺术带来了革命性的冲击。高雅与通俗、艺术与生活、作品与媒介之间的界限日益模糊,古典艺术被抛掷进仓库里。思考表明,现代艺术并未能越出黑格尔对艺术的经典界定“理念的感性显现”,现代艺术之别于古典艺术者在其艺术主体的观念化、艺术创作的去技化和艺术作品的媒介化。这两种异样的精神风貌分属于不同的传统,当互为补充而非彼此对立。现状的迷惘根自历史,在时代和时代艺术的终结里,我们看到的是艺术的永恒。%Marcel Duchamp, John Cage and Andy Warhol were three "dazzling stars" in modern art history and exerted a revolutionary impact on traditional art. The distinction between elegance and vulgarity, art and life, and works and media is getting vague, and classical art is neglected. However, modern art does not surpass Hegel' s definition of art - "perceptual manifestation of the conception". The difference between modern art and classical art lies in the conceptualization of art subject, de-technologization of artistic creation and mediatization of art works. These two art styles belong to different traditions, but they are complementary rather than contradictory. Modern perplexity is rooted in history, and we can see the eternity of art in the conclusion of the times and time-featured art.
