Clinical symptoms include constipation, fecal incontinence and etc. MR defecography as a dynamic MR examination can visually display the abnormal morphology and structure of the posterior pelvic floor compartment, and can identify the type and cause of PPFD, such as rectocoele, enterocoele, pelvic organ prolapse, rectal prolapse, and intussusception. At the same time, an early morphological and functional abnormity changes of fecal incontinence can often be detected by MR defecography.
