对中国古城墙研究进行回顾和简述,并按不同的成果形式、研究方向进行归纳和总结.研究成果虽然不少,但相对于同类其他课题的研究,还显薄弱.从考古、历史角度研究较多,以规划、建筑视角切入极少；纵向剖析较多,横向比对缺乏；开发利用的类似性文章较多,针对性强的文章量少.总而言之,中国古城墙研究仍然任重道远,尚需努力.%This paper briefly reviews the researches into Chinese ancient city walls, and then makes a summary according to the form of research achievements and the research direction. Its foundings are as follows: Although there are many research achievements in this area, they still seem much weaker compared to other study subjects of the same kind. Many researches are done from the angles of archaeology and history, and researches done from the angles of planning and architecture are few and far. Most researches adopt vertical analysis and only a few researches make horizontal comparison. There ore many similar articles discussing the development and utilization of ancient city walls, but few of them have clear-cut aims. On the whole, it is arduous to do further researches into Chinese ancient city walls.
