基于RFID的交通信号灯智能控制系统的研究

         

摘要

In order to effectively alleviate traffic congestion and improve the traffic capacity of urban roads,the intelligent control system of traffic lights based on RFID is proposed in the paper.The system can realize the communication between the vehicles that are equipped with RFID tags and RFID readers which are installed in the signal lights' upstreams of road intersections and also can realize the real-time monitoring of vehicle flows using RFID technology.At the same time,the system can also use light intelligent control algorithm to realize the intelligent automatic conversion of the traffic lights in different periods and different traffic flows which can ease traffic congestion,reduce traffic accidents and improve traffic environments.The experimental results show that the system can effectively improve the efficiency of the whole road network and reduce the waiting times of vehicles.%为了有效地缓解交通拥堵,提高城市道路的通行能力,提出了基于RFID的交通信号灯智能控制系统的研究,该系统可以利用RFID技术实现安装RFID标签的道路车辆与安装在道路交叉路口,信号灯上游的RFID阅读器之间的通信及车辆流量的实时监控;同时,系统还可以利用信号灯智能控制算法实现不同时段、不同交通流量下信号灯的智能自动转换,从而缓解交通堵塞、减少交通事故、改善交通环境.实验结果表明,该系统的运用能够有效地提高整个路网的运行效率,减少车辆等待时间.
