Violent protests erupted along the Gaza Strip and West Bank on April 16 as Patestinians reacted angrily to the assassination in Tunisia of PLO guerrilla commander Khalil al-Wazir known as Abu Jihad, the closest aide of PLO leader Yassir Araft.
