This paper carried out the actual needs of the video conference centers in provincial government departments, described the main functions, and analyzed the current mainstream technology of the core technical problems including the large screen, high-definition video, digital audio, signal transmission mode and the network involved in the construction. It also gave the conclusive suggestion on the applicability of the video conference centers of government departments, which has much reference significance and practical value.
