基于纹理分割的纹理模型简化

         

摘要

To solve the problem that texture stretch and distort in the process of textured model simplification,this paper propose a texture-segmentation-based model simplification algorithm.Before model simplification,we cut up model texture image into segmentation as for pretreatment,thus the model is cut into multiple parts by the texture boundary and simplified independently.During simplifying,the boundary edge stays unchanged,edges according to the threshold of collapse cost are judged to be simplified and not simplified.Collapse cost takes into account the characteristics of the model,so the simplified model can maintain the characteristcs of the original model structure.After simplification,recalculate texture coordinates for texture mapping according to the new vertex coordinates.Experiments show that texture stretch and distort are well reduced because of the separately operate for each texture block.Moreover,model simplification algorithm keep the geometry characteristics of the model.%针对带纹理模型简化出现的纹理拉伸和扭曲问题,提出一种基于纹理分割的网格简化算法.化简之前,对模型纹理图片进行分割预处理,根据纹理边界将模型分成多个部分分别进行简化.在简化中,保持边界边不变,依据折叠代价阈值约束简化边与不简化边.折叠代价中考虑了模型的特征,使简化后的模型能很好地保持模型的特征结构.简化完成后,按照新顶点坐标重新计算纹理坐标,进行纹理映射.实验表明,由于单独对每个纹理块进行操作,很好地减少了纹理的拉伸和扭曲,简化算法也较好地保持了模型的几何结构.
