Considering the fact that traditional genetic algorithm(GA)has disadvantages of slow convergent speed and easy to fall into local optimal solution when applied in beamforming of antenna array,this paper proposes an improved GA by making some improvement on the selection of initial population,crossover operation and mutation operation of traditional GA,and appliesit to phase-only sidelobe suppression. Simulation on20 elements uniform linear array and 64 elements uniform planar array,it shows that the sidelobe level which using improved GA isover 1dB lower than traditional GA, and the convergence rate is faster.The simulation results verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.%针对传统遗传算法应用于阵列天线波束形成中存在的收敛速度慢、易陷入局部最优等问题,本文提出了一种改进的遗传算法,分别对传统遗传算法的初始种群选择、交叉操作和变异操作进行了改进,并将其应用到唯相波束形成的旁瓣抑制中.通过对20阵元均匀线阵和64阵元均匀面阵进行仿真,结果表明本文提出的改进遗传算法得到的旁瓣高度比传统遗传算法低1dB以上,且收敛更快速,验证了该方法的有效性.
