基于DP83640的IEEE-1588时钟同步协议在POWERPC体系上的实现方案和技巧

         

摘要

随着通信技术的迅速发展,对于应用以太网进行具有高精度的时间同步的研究也就日趋重要,在POWERPC硬件平台上给出了使用带IEEE 1588功能的PHY芯片DP83640进行时间同步的硬件方案,并详细描述了对DP83640 PHY芯片软件应用的几种方法和技巧.最后又提出了一种使用通用PHY芯片来实现IEEE 1588的简易方案.这些方案都已广泛应用于电力行业,具有很高的实用价值.%Along with rapid developing of communication technologies, it is more and more important to have an study on time synchronizing design on Ethernet. The time synchronizing design should achieve high accuracies. Based on POWERPC hardware platform, a time synchronizing design of using DP83640 chip with IEEE 1588 functions was introduced. What's more, a detail analysis and co MParison to several methods of software on DP83640 is proposed. Finally, IEEE 1588 time synchronizing design which had higher precision was applied of bay level. Finally, a simple IEEE 1588 implementation progress using normal physical layer chip was discussed. These technologies were all widely applied in power industry, had a high practical value.
