摘要

The images of parasols from Dunhuang cave paintings,together with motifs and graphics including the Sumeru-shaped Buddha's thrones,musician apsaras,bodhi trees,mani pearls,and honeysuckle,serve as a foil for the invincible power of Buddha and the gods and the boundless realm of Buddhist paradise.The intrinsic composition and external form,decorative motifs,and colors of these Sui dynasty parasol images create an artistic tension that perfectly represents the characteristics of the age.%敦煌石窟中的华盖图像,与须弥座、伎乐飞天、菩提神树、摩尼宝珠、忍冬纹等图文意象衬托着仙佛的神威,庄严着佛国乐土的大千世界.隋代时期的华盖图像,无论是内在的构成关系,还是外在的造型特征、装饰纹样、色彩等,都是极有艺术的张力,反映了这一时期的时代特征.
