图书情报学在学科一体化的进程中，相互交叉融合，积极借鉴管理科学、社会学、知识管理、信息技术等其他学科知识。选择国外35种核心期刊作为数据来源，运用聚类分析、因子分析、内容分析方法，测度国外图书情报学的学科结构与交叉融合现状。研究表明，图书情报学研究经典与前沿并重；学科知识来源的结构分为图书馆学、情报学与专业领域应用三大模块，具体分为9个方面：图书馆学、情报学与信息技术、科学评价与科学计量学、社会科学、信息行为、信息社会、学术交流、知识管理、医学信息。对于我国图书情报学研究而言，应平衡学术积累与前沿拓展，研究方法移植与研究程式创新，理论借鉴与学科体系完善，问题导向与科际整合的关系。%In the progress of interdisciplinary integration, Library and Information Science actively absorbs other discipli- nary theories and methods, such as management, sociology, knowledge management, information technology. Based on ci- tation analysis of 35 overseas core journals, the paper explored the intellectual structure and convergence of library and infor- mation science by cluster analysis, factor analysis and content analysis. The result indicates that the classical domains and re- search frontiers lay equal stress on both. During 2002-2001, the intellectual structure of knowledge source can be divided into three parts of library science, information science and special application. The interdisciplinary research domain mainly fo- cused on library science, information science and information technology, science evaluation and scientometrics, social sci- ence, information behavior, information society, scholarly communication, knowledge management and medicine information. Furthermore, the research of library and information science in China should balance the relation between academic accumu- lation and frontier development, research method transplantation and research program innovation, theoretical reference and subject system development, problem-orientation and interdisciplinary integration.
