论残疾的现代性

摘要

The modernity in physical disability means a new set of conceptions of and strategies for dealing this public issue in contrast to those in ancient times. In this essay the author discussed the modernity of physical disability in three parts: 1) its formation and changes in historical and cultural background, 2) the risks, subjectivity and differences as characteristics of the modernity, and 3) the modernity's dilemmas between discrimination and protection, welfare and empowerment, conceptions and practices, and so on. It tried to offer new spaces to social actions and system intervention for disability governance.%残疾现代性主要是指不同于传统的残疾观以及应对残疾的行为模式.文章从历史—文化的视角对现代残疾观的形成与嬗变进行梳理,从残疾风险社会化、残疾人权利保护、残疾干预制度的构建等方面阐述残疾现代性的特征,并从观念与行动实践、歧视与保护、隔离与保护等方面分析残疾现代性的困境,这为残疾治理的社会行动和制度干预提供了新的空间.
