自蔓延烧结法制备 Al4 C3涂覆金刚石复合材料

         

摘要

Al-TiC boned diamond composites were fabricated by self-propagation high temperature sintering (SHS)from Ti/Al/Graphite/Diamond powders.The samples were analyzed by XRD,SEM with EDS.The results show that Al-TiC boned diamond composites were obtained by SHS.The main phases of the products were Al,TiC and diamond by SHS from every raw material.Meanwhile,the Al4 C3 coating was formed on the face of diamond.When Al mass fraction was higher (80%),Al4 C3 coating had a fine organization with a size of 1-5 μm.With Al mass fraction decreasing to 60%,Al4 C3 organization became coarse.Meanwhile,many bud shaped precipitates with a size of 5-20 μm formed on the coatings.But as Al mass fraction decreased to 40%, diamonds were easily broken because of its graphitization.%采用 Ti/Al/石墨/金刚石粉体为原料,通过自蔓延高温烧结技术制备铝-碳化钛基结合金刚石复合材料,制备了 Al-TiC 结合剂金刚石复合材料,在金刚石表面合成了碳化铝涂层。采用 X 射线衍射(XRD)、扫描电镜(SEM)结合能谱仪(EDS)分析试样。研究结果表明:各种原料经自蔓延高温烧结后,产物主相为 Al、TiC 和金刚石。同时,在金刚石表面形成了致密的 Al4 C3涂层,当 Al 质量分数较高时(80%),Al4 C3涂层组织细小,约为1~5μm;随着 Al 质量分数减少至60%,Al4 C3涂层组织粒度逐渐变大,同时析出较多5~20μm 的花蕾状析出物。但是当 Al 质量分数较少(40%)时,金刚石易发生碎裂现象。
