本文主要以“扬州2500周年城庆logo设计”为例,通过分析、比较西方与国内较为先进的城市形象建设成果,深层次、多维度地挖掘2500年扬州城市的自然地理、历史发展、人文景观、传统文化等设计要素。以8W法为设计原则展开设计,重点体现2500年扬州城市园林山水、博大包容、水乡文化、侠骨柔情的精神气息,从而提升扬州的品牌形象及国际地位。%This paper mainly takes the‘2500th anniversary celebration in Yangzhou city logo design’ as an example through the analysis and comparison of the western and domestic advanced achievements in the construction of city image, deeply and multi-dimensionaly excavating the design elements of natural geography, historical development, human landscape, traditional culture in the 2500 years of Yangzhou city. The launch of the design, using 8W method as the design principle, mainly reflects the spirits of garden landscape, broadness and inclusiveness, waterside culture and chivalrous tenderness in 2500 years of Yangzhou city,so as to promote the brand image and the international status of Yangzhou city.
