From Equivalence to Skopos： between Nida and the A Theoretical＂ Dialogue＂ Functional School

The aim of this essay is to analyze the theories of translation raised by Eugene Nida and the Functional School respectively.The focus is on the Dynamic Equivalence and Skopos Theory.This essay introduces the characteristics and deficiencies of the two theories and compares the differences between them.
