显著角点特征在三维模型检索中的应用

         

摘要

Content - based 3D model retrieval has become one of the hottest topics currently in the domain of information retrieval. The kernel of 3D model retrieval systems measure the similarity of 3D data content by extracting the information that can describe the feature of visual appearance of 3D models. This feature information is expressed as a compact data structure, which is often called feature descriptor. We used the improved algorithm of aspect graph to obtain relative 2D aspect set of the 3D models in various views. On this condition, a method for retrievaling 3D models based on salient corner features was proposed. Finally, we took the 3D models of Princeton Shape Benchmark as an example. The result illustrates that this 3D model retrieval method is effective and robust. Therefore, the algorithm can provide with higher practical value and a large potential.%基于内容的三维模型检索是信息检索领域的一个研究热点,其关键技术就是从三维数据内容出发,自动从模型中提取出能描述其外观的特征信息,并用一种紧凑的数据结构,即特征描述符来表达这种信息.利用改良的视面图算法得到了三维模型在不同视点下的二维投影图,在此基础上,提出了一种利用显著角点特征进行三维模型检索的方法.选用普林斯顿大学的三维模型库进行仿真,结果表明,通过显著角点特征进行三维模型检索的方法效果良好、性能稳定,有较高的实用价值和很大的发展潜力.
