基于嵌入式的车辆牌照识别系统设计

摘要

嵌入式系统下的车辆牌照自动识别是图像识别的难点。针对便携式设备提出一种在嵌入式系统下的车辆牌照自动识别方案。本方案结合并优化了字符模板匹配和字符的轮廓特征和结构上的统计特征算法对字符进行有效地识别。此方案的设计能大幅度降低车辆牌照自动识别系统的成本。实验证明这种识别方案在嵌入式系统下具有很好的识别性能。%Vehicle license plate recognition in embedded system is the difficulty in image recognition.Targeted at portable devices we propose an automatic vehicle license plate recognition scheme in embedded system.The scheme combines and optimises the character template matching,the character contour feature as well as the statistic feature algorithm in structure to effectively identify the character.The design of the scheme can sharply reduce the cost of automatic vehicle license plate recognition system.Experiments prove that this identification scheme has good recognition performance in embedded systems.
