Objective To investigate the clinical, imaging, pathological features, the misdiagnosis causes, and pre-ventive measures of the Intracranial hemangiopericytoma ( HPC) . Methods Clinical data of 2 patients with HPC in our hospi-tal misdiagnosed as having other diseases was retrospectively analyzed and related literature was also reviewed. Results One patient was admitted to our hospital for headache and dizziness, the other was for dizziness and walking instability. They were respectively diagnosed as having neuroastrocytoma and meningioma before operation. Both of them underwent microsurgery treatment and were diagnosed as having HPC after postoperative pathologic examination. The 2 patients underwent adjuvant ra-diotherapy after operation. There was no anomalism during the one month of follow-up after discharge. Conclusion The clini-cal manifestations and imaging features of HPC are similar to those of meningioma, and are prone to be misdiagnosed, there-fore the diagnosis of this disease should be based on the combined results of CT, MRI and pathology examinations. Surgery is the preferred treatment method for it. The key factor of a successful operation is to reduce and control intraoperative bleeding. Postoperative radiotherapy and long-term follow-up are also suggested.%目的：探讨颅内血管外皮细胞瘤( hemangiopericytoma, HPC)的临床、影像学、病理特点及误诊原因、防范措施。方法对我院收治的2例颅内HPC误诊病例的临床资料进行回顾性分析,并复习相关文献。结果本组1例以头痛、头晕,1例以头晕伴步态不稳至我院就诊,术前分别诊断为胶质瘤和脑膜瘤。2例均于显微镜下全部切除肿瘤,术后病理检查皆确诊为颅内HPC,术后均辅以放射治疗,放射治疗结束后出院。出院后1个月随访2例均无异常。结论颅内HPC临床和影像学表现与脑膜瘤相似,易误诊,临床应结合CT、MRI以及病理学检查进行诊断。手术全切是其首选治疗方式,术中应控制和减少出血,术后可辅以放射治疗并坚持长期随访。
