This paper discusses the development of roofing virescence technology of city buildings, and reveals the connotation of green value, and establishes the evaluation methods of green value of the roofing virescence project on buildings from four dimensions like financial return, resource consumption, environmental load and external benefit and so on. In that case, as for the comprehensive effect of building roofing virescence technology, the unified quantifying indicators with comparability come up, which can help the building roofing virescence technology to develop well and spread in a large scale in China.
