The crystallographic data shows that the title complex crystallizes in monoclinic system, space group C2/c. Each Co(II) is six-coordinated to four 0 atoms from two ADB2-, two H2ADB ligands, two nitrogen atoms from two BPY molecules and forms distorted octahedral coordination geometry. The Co2+ ions are interlinked by the ADB2-, H2ADBand BPY to yield 2D net. CCDC: 745404.
