Increasing Speed of China's Crude Steel Output Will Decline in 2012 and 2013

On Nov. 27th, China Metallurgical Industry Planning and Research Institute released the forecasted results for China's I & S demand in 2013. According to the economic situation in China and overseas and the deve- lopment of downstream industries, it's estimated China's crude steel output in 2012 will reach 716 million tons up 4.5% YOY, and the increasing speed will be 4.4% lower than that of 2011; in 2013, China's crude steel output will reach 746 million tons up 4.2% YOY, and the increasing speed will decline further.
