On 21st February 2006, when Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf visited China, CETC International Co., Ltd., was awarded two projects contracts in Pakistan, including the urban railway project named Karachi Mass Transit Corridor 1('KMT-1') valued at US$289 million, and Motherhood TV Channel project valued at US$25 million.
