Suzhou, dubbed as “paradise on earth”， is known for its Chinese-style gardens. Every time I was in Suzhou, I went to one or two gardens for leisure. The other day when I visited Ou Yuan (Couple Garden Retreat), I chatted with a ticketing staff at the entrance and asked him where I could listen to authentic Suzhou ballad-singing.
