Chengdu’s Film “Silicon Valley”

The Fuheyuan Film and Media Industrial Park,dubbed as the“Silicon Valley”for film making in China,is a large cultural and creative project based on the new campus of Sichuan University of Media and Communications(SUMC)in Chengdu City.The Fuheyuan Film and Media Industrial Park is the largest filming and postproduction base in western China.It is home to the Ultra-HD Audio-Visual Equipment R&D Center and National Animation and Innovation R&D Center.Moreover,it is a hub for cooperative innovation of virtual reality(VR)and augmented reality(AR)technologies,film production-related technologies,and special effects techniques,as well as a center for film and television program production.Fuheyuan also provides professional training in film and media.
