最大信息系数在瓣膜性心脏病差异表达miRNA识别中的应用

         

摘要

将1种称为最大信息系数的新型统计工具引入到表达miRNA的识别中,并应用到瓣膜性心脏病(valvular heart disease,VHD)的miRNA表达谱中识别差异表达miRNA.通过对表达谱GSE28954的分析,最大信息系数方法识别了2个具有强烈差异表达的miRNA,其中,hsa-miR-221*是已有研究未发现的新的差异表达miRNA.实验提示,最大信息系数可用于差异表达miRNA的识别, 且其最佳阈值为0.5~0.6.%A novel statistical method named maximal information coefficient was introduced into the identification of expressed miRNAs, and it was employed to screen differentially expressed miRNAs on a valvular heart disease (VHD) case-control expression profile.By analyzing the dataset GSE28954, two miRNAs with strongly differential expression were identified by the method, in which hsa-miR-221* was a new differentially expressed miRNA by comparing the existing work.Our experiments suggest that it is feasible to employ the maximal information coefficient into identifying differentially expressed miRNAs, and the best cut-off of identification is 0.5-0.6.
