磷-氮膨胀型阻燃剂和溴系阻燃剂复配阻燃聚丙烯的研究

         

摘要

Low-cost and low brominated flame-retardant polypropylene (PP) composites were prepared by a complex of phosphorus-nitrogen intumescent flame retardant (SR201A) and bromine-antimony flame retardant,and the effect of flame-retardant agents on combustion performance and mechanical properties of flame-retardant PP were investigated.The combustion behavior and mechanical properties of PP were evaluated by vertical burning experiments,limiting oxygen index,cone calorimeter measurement,thermogravimetric analysis and mechanical measurements.The results indicated that composite achieved a classification of UL 94 V-2 in the vertical burring test when 20 wt % of complex flame retardants was added,and their limiting oxygen index reached 31.4 %.The cone calorimeter testing results confirmed that there was a synergistic effect derived from the complex flame retardant agent systems,which could effectively promote the formation of residual char during the combustion of PP composites.In addition,the tensile and flexural strength of flame-retardant polypropylene composites was higher than those of pure PP resin.%将磷-氮复配膨胀型阻燃剂SR201A和溴-锑系阻燃母粒M进行复配,制备了低溴、低成本的阻燃聚丙烯(PP)复合材料,同时通过垂直燃烧测试、极限氧指数法、锥形量热仪测试、热失重分析和力学实验等研究了2种阻燃剂配比及协效剂[Zn3 (BO3)2和ZnO]对PP阻燃性能和力学性能的影响.结果表明,添加20%(质量分数,下同)的复配阻燃剂(SR201A与M质量比为4∶1)时复合材料垂直燃烧级别达UL 94 V-2级,极限氧指数达31.4%;阻燃协效剂Zn3 (BO3)2和ZnO的加入对体系的气相阻燃和凝聚相阻燃均有一定的促进作用,同时体系的拉伸强度和弯曲强度较纯PP有所提升.
