Petroleum University, China's first high-education institution, celebrated its 50th anniversary on its campus both in Beijing and Shandong on October 2 and 4. Vice Premier Wu Yi and State Councilor and Minister of Public Security Zhou Yongkang took part in the celebrating activities respectively in the two places.
