摘要

University in Taiwan develops technology to distillate fuel oil from wastesoil from wastes Environmental Engineering Department of Private DayeUniversity in Taiwan recently announced they havesuccessfully distillated petroleum from the waste computershells and internal plastic materials. This technology canmake use of wastes for environmental protection. The wastematerials of computer can be turned into the liquid rawpyrolysis oil and gas as well as carbon residue after the high-temperature, cracking and gasification and cool condensingprocedures. Fuel oil can be distillated from the raw pyrolysisoil while the solid carbon residue can be used as bitumenand raw material for active carbon, which can be used in theelectronic industry and production of gauze mask. Thistechnical research and development project cost more thanNTD5 million (US$1 equals to about NTD34.8) and lastedabout three years.
