Insulin-like growth factor-binding protein 7 ( IGFBP7) a member of IGFBP superfamily involving in intracellular signaling cell growth and cell metabolism is expressed in a wide variety of human tissues. IGFBP7 expression is significantly reduced in psoriatic lesion. The role of IGFBP7 in the pathogenesis of psoriasis is the induction of cell differentiation and apoptosis alleviation of keratinocyte proliferation abnormalities and down-regulation of the VEGF expression to inhibit angiogenesis. Retinoids are acknowledged as effective drugs for psoriasis and the potential mechanism is related to the regulation of IGFs directly or indirectly and up-regulation of IGFBP7 mRNA and protein.%胰岛素样生长因子结合蛋白7( IGFBP7)属于胰岛素样生长因子结合蛋白超家族成员,参与细胞内信号转导、细胞生长及细胞代谢,在人类多种组织中均有表达。
