CIIS Co-Hosts Symposium on Diplomatic Thoughts and Foreign Policies of Chinese and Vietnamese Communist Parties

On October 27, the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam, CIIS and the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam (DAV) co-hosted a symposium on the diplomatic thoughts and foreign policies of Chinese and Vietnamese Communist Parties. CIIS President Xu Bu, Chinese Ambassador to Vietnam Xiong Bo, Deputy Foreign Minister of Vietnam Pham Quang Hieu, and DAV Acting President Pham Lan Dung delivered remarks at the opening of the symposium. Via video link, experts and scholars from China and Vietnam had in-depth exchanges on the diplomatic thinking and practice of the two ruling parties, as well as new developments in international and regional situations.
