The project of research on technology application of active neutron measurement on plutonium contained waste is one of the national basement research projects.The project’s purpose is to develop the diameter matched active neutron measurement device for the practical package containers with waste sample by conducting structure optimizing and parameter calibration for the active neutron measurement system for plutonium contained wastes,and carry out on-site application research and verification on the active neutron measurement and analytical method,so as to solve the technical problem for the accurate measuring of total amount of plutonium in wastes with plutonium.
