Characteristics and trends in China's further opening to the world beyond the 18th CPC National Congress

The period between the 18th National Congress of Communist Party of China (CPC) in November,2012 and 2020 is crucial for China's goal to complete the building of a moderately prosperous society in all respects.State policy of reform and opening up plays an important role in promoting China's long-term economic growth.The direction of opening-up policies since the 18th CPC National Congress will have consequences for the prospect for the realization of the "Chinese Dream." This paper discusses the characteristics and trends in China's opening up after the 18th CPC National Congress in terms of purpose,direction,opportunities,strategy,impetus,regional layout,flow direction,means,interests,and risk prevention.
