教育游戏的动作水准与学习者的性格类型对内在动机的影响

         

摘要

Much effort to use educational games for students’ learning is being made actively at home. Roles of learners and instructors are undergoing considerable change in current view of the constructivism, and the changes in the whole contemporary socialites. Trying to use games in education advanced to new learning methods such as‘Edutainment’ and‘Game Based Learning’, however, not many researches on those areas have been carried out. For this reason, this research was started. In this study the action levels of the educational games and the learners’ personality types are main variables to be explored. It is expected that the results of this study would suggest how to utilize educational games in teaching and learning. To test the independent variables on the internal motivation of the learners, an experiment has been carried out. In the experiment,‘the level of action’ among several characteristics of the educational games was set up as the independent variable,‘the type of the personality’ among characteristics of learners was. The mediator variable, and learners’ intrinsic motivation was the dependent variable. There will be a meaningful difference in intrinsic motivation between learners who use games on the higher level of action and learners on the lower level of action in game based learning. The intrinsic motivation of extrovert learners’ will be improved more than that of introvert learner’s in game based learning. There will be interaction effects between the level of action and the learner’s personality type on learner’s intrinsic motivation in game based learning.%教育游戏应用到课程是当前国内外聚焦的研究内容。随着教学方式的变化,学习者角色的转换和教师角色的转换是教学全面变化的重要一环。根据这些变化的趋势,游戏应用到教育领域的“Edutainment”和“基于教育游戏的学习”成为新的教学方式和研究课题。本研究以教育游戏的“动作水准”作为独立变量,学习者特性中“性格类型”作为中介变量,学习者对游戏的内在动机作为从属变量,进行了实验研究。研究认为:在游戏化学习中,使用动作水准高的游戏的学习者集团和使用动作水准低的游戏的学习者集团之间的内在动机将会存在有意义的差异;内向型学习者集团和外向型学习者集团作比较时,外向型学习者集团的内在动机比内向型学习者集团会有提高;教育游戏的动作水准和学习者的性格类型对于内在动机会有相互作用。
