＜正＞ By Feng Shiliang of CPCIAIn August 2007,China’s petroleumand chemical industry remained arapid growth inproduction.Amongthe 65 petrochemical products thathave been tracked by CPCIA（ChinaPetroleum and Chemical IndustryAssociation）,56 increased theiroutput compared with the sameperiod of 2006,and the output of39 products,in particular,grew byover 10%.The output of naturalgas,pure benzene and methanol in-creased rapidly.Local price ofchemicals showed a fiat increase.Among 159 chemicals recorded,77chemicals had higher prices thanthat in the preceding month.Dueto the implementation of the newexport rebate rates,the growth ofexport has decreased.
