The single crystal structure of TpAnZnCl has been determined by a four-circle X-ray diffractometer, which shows that the coordination environment about the Zn center is distorted tetrahedral. The crystals are monoclinic, space-group P21/n, with dimensions a=1.005 5(2) nm, b=1.689 0(3) nm, c=1.776 0(4) nm, β=102.16(3)° and Z=4, with final residuals R=0.050 0 and wR=0.120 2.
