Some Considerations on Deepening the Current Reform of China’s ST System

In light of the worldwide S&T and economic development and the demands set on the S&Tsystem by the national modernization drive in China, the author examines the governmentsauthority and duties in the macro-management of the S&T system on the basis of a brief evalu-ation of Chinas S&T reform over the past decade or so.
