Mutagenicity and Genotoxicity of Organic Extracts from Finished Water with Different Treatment Process

Purification of surface water is widely practicedwith conventional water treatment processes likecoagulation-flocculation, sedimentation, filtration,and disinfection. Some reports have specified thatconventional wastewater purification processes donot effectively remove many chemical contaminants,and that treatment may increase the mutagenicity orgenotoxicity of wastewater.
