"Confusion" and "dream" are the major human impressions of universe in prehistoric times,and major features of early human thinking. With the progress of human society and the enhancement of rational thinking ability,"Confusion" becomes a kind of collective unconsciousness which remains in the deep layer of human consciousness and sometimes is represented in dreams or the dream art. In Chuang-tzu′s fantasy world of art constructed by bold imagination,the image of things is obscure and subtle;Things can be turned into animal and plants;All the things are interwoven and have no clear boundary;The borderline between dream and reality cannot be drawn. Chuang-tzu is not an imitation of daily life, but a kind of art representation of the primitive image "confusion", which is actually a call for the vagueness and irrational world from the deep layer of human mind.
