摘要

This study looks at the relationship between age, gender, administrative support, faculty support, family support, alcohol use, drug use, parental education levels, parental relationship status, student relationship status, socioeconomic status, job status, and the belief of an education as a necessity. Data was gathered from undergraduate college students in introductory Psychology courses of Tennessee Technological University (n=131). Data was entered into a multiple regression utilizing both the backward and forward enter method to predict students' academic persistence.
