This thesis describes techniques and systems that were devised for the extraction of lipid oils and further refining of lipids into bio-fuels while within the context of underdeveloped demography. The process is presented in simple form, divided into three phases of effort and development. Phase I includes solar distillation, filtering out uranium deposits exigent within the Navajo Nation. Phase II depicts economical techniques and/or processes necessary in obtaining carbon dioxide used to produce the bio-fuel in Phase III.;Detailed drawings illustrate an alternative to burning fossil fuels by utilizing a Compost Septic Incinerator (CSI), which is partially fed from garden and livestock waste. The conceptual format outlines a sustainable means of generating methane to produce carbon dioxide gases, pumped using the latent pressure within the CSI vessel to a residential scaled photo-bioreactor. The photobioreactor presented, is capable of generating algal-food by-products, and lipid oils for commercial industry. Additionally, a time sensitive relationship to growth is briefly presented, addressing a business structure which is explicit of the Navajo Nation Copper Mine Chapter House demographic. The approach is a growth model hypothetically framed within the context of existing socio-cultural and environmental issues of the Navajo Nation. Thus, the results of the thesis are modeled as scalable and present no empirical findings.
