摘要

The study examined international employee wellness program (EWP) outcomes and specifically investigated stress, organizational commitment, and nationality. It was hypothesized that stress would decrease, organizational commitment would increase, and nationality would affect employee wellness program participation outcomes. A sample of individuals who have and who have not participated in an EWP (N = 456) was obtained from 27 countries. Results showed that there was not a significant difference between those who participated in an EWP and those who did not for perceived stress and organizational commitment. However, there were significant differences in levels of perceived stress and organizational commitment between participants whose nationality was outside of the United States and participants within the United States. For participants whose self-reported nationality and passport nationality was outside of the United States, higher perceived stress was associated with lower organizational commitment.
