Al sur del espejo: Carroll y la inversion de la maravilla y el sinsentido en la poesia chilena del Siglo XX.

摘要

The marvelous and nonsense in the works of five Twentieth-Century Chilean poets: Huidobro's Vanguardism, Parra's "Antipoetry", "Mandragora", Teillier's "Larismo" and Lihn's Hyperrealism. This project studies the presence of Carroll in these poets and movements, specifically his classics Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass, as backgrounds for different experimental poetic projects between 1920 and 1980. This literary corpus of poems, prose poems and dramatic poetry---Papa o el Diario de Alicia Mir, (Huidobro), "Pussykatten" (Parra) Visiones del Pais de las Maravillas (Arenas), "Alicia en el Pais de las Maravillas" (Gomez Correa), Alicia y nosuena (Cid-Menedin), "Lewis Carroll" (Teillier) and "Alicia en el Pais de las Pesadillas" (Lihn)---is studied in light of the concepts of the marvelous and nonsense (Sewell, Deleuze), and Benjamin's theory about the work of art and the avant-garde. This study is further complemented by references to the visual arts representing Carroll's fictive universe, in light of the analysis by Feal and Feal, Foucault, and Frank.
