Web-based routing system using JSP and JDBC.

摘要

The thesis presents a web based routing system using JSP and JDBC technologies for allowing customers online submit their order to a trucking company for sending their cargos to a required destination.; This system employs a serial of Java technologies, such as JDBC, Java Beans, Java applets as well as the newest web developing technique, JSP, which is used as server side script, and JavaScript is chosen for client-side script. A relational database is designed and used for maintaining data source and updating client's information. The system also uses Single Source Shortest Path Algorithm for guaranteeing to find a shortest route in terms of minimum driving time.; In this system, Tomcat container is added on Apache Web Server for supporting JSP and Java Servlet. By taking all Java benefits, the system is portable and suitable to work on cross-platforms and provides better performance.
