A PKI-based authentication and capability authorization model for grid computing.

摘要

Security problems have been an important issue since the mainframe. The popularity of distributed computing, such as Grid, adds new requirements. Security goals have to be achieved over an open network environment.; This research has addressed the fundamental issues of the computer system security by designing an authentication and authorization model. The authentication part adopts a triple-layered, double-factored, and PKI-based design; the authorization part uses an identity-embedded capability system.; The efficacy and performance of this model is justified by its application in Cheap Grid.
