摘要

This research presents an approach for the reconstruction of 3D architectural scenes from single 2D perspective sketches and images. The input sketches along with geometric constraints are used to reconstruct a 3D scene. The aim of this research is to reduce the number of constraints that have to be explicitly entered for the process of 3D reconstruction of a scene from 2D images. The proposed approach relies on the online drawing properties of a sketch to determine the geometric constraints.; This system can be used by architects to create 3D models of existing as well as proposed buildings from single images and sketches. The advantage of such a system over traditional modeling systems is the speed and ease of creating 3D models.
