Thesis on Industrial Organization and Development of China.

摘要

My thesis is divided into two parts. In part 1 I develops a theory for why a big country, like China, might be special when it comes to pursuing strategic trade policy. Then in part 2 I studies the rise of patenting in China, specifically, the rise and dispersion of Chinese inventors.
