摘要

Past methods in physical modeling of string instruments involved efficient structures and algorithms for reproducing sounds similar to the instrument modeled. In this thesis, we present extensions to these models with novel parameter estimation methods for reproducing sounds exactly after recorded tones, while maintaining the physicality of such models.
