摘要

PID controllers are mainly used in industry as a part of process equipment as well as power and marine industries. Conventional PID controller cannot compensate uncertainties and complex dynamics since PID gains should be tuned continuously. Also, tuned parameters cannot guarantee the stability later on. Hence, adaptive PID control algorithm is an option to conventional PID controller.;Steam turbine is essential equipment in electricity production in power plants, sugar mills and paper mills as well as marine industry. Steam turbine has to adapt to varying conditions in order to satisfy and ensure process and electricity production reliabilities. Hence, adaptive control algorithms have been developed for industry and applied to governing system of steam turbine. The new Model Based Adaptive PID Controller with Feedforward Compensator (MBAPC) is designed and applied to steam turbine system which is an ASPR (Almost Strict Positive Realness) plant. Simulation results are quite satisfactory under droop changes compared to PID controller simulations.
